During my stay at Hotel Kaiserin Augusta, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout of my room, complete with a cozy seating area. The breakfast was delightful, featuring a wonderful variety of fresh breads, cheeses, and meats to fuel my day.

The location of the Kaiserin Augusta is unbeatable, just across from the train station, ensuring easy access to public transport. The room I stayed in was spacious with a comfortable seating area, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, featuring a great selection of fresh breads, cheeses, and meats. The staff were very helpful when I had questions about local attractions and even offered recommendations. However, I encountered some issues with the bathroom as the shower tray drained slowly, which created some inconvenience during my shower. Additionally, although the room was pleasant, it lacked tea and coffee facilities, which would have made my stay even more comfortable. I appreciated the hotel's charming decor but found the bathroom towels to be rather thin and not up to the quality of the rest of the amenities.

This hotel was perfectly suited to our family, especially with our special needs son’s support dog in tow. We enjoyed walking to the famous onion festival, just a quick jaunt away, soaking in the local vibe along the way.

My wife says that the room could have been a bit bigger for all our gear.

Consider trying the onion cake at the cozy bar. it’s a local specialty worth tasting during your stay.

The room had plenty of space to stretch out, and that shower? Simply divine. Every morning, I was fixin’ to dive into that breakfast spread. Staff were just the sweetest, makin’ sure we felt right at home. Also, that evening meal with Thüringer beef? Y'all gotta try it!

Ideal for short stays

I had a clean room, but it was not extraordinary and was only adequate. The staff here were great, genuinely making things easy for us, like helping us out with our luggage until check-in.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but it worked out for what we needed.

Unfortunately, my room was too warm with no air conditioning, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, I struggled with communication upon check-in as the receptionist spoke limited English, which added to my frustration. Lastly, I found the shower draining slowly, causing inconvenience during my daily routines.

Had a great time with the huge room and comfortable beds. The staff were super friendly (helped me with all my questions! ). Loved the breakfast buffet, good variety to kickstart the day!.

my one night at kaiserin augusta was quite satisfying. previously, my stays in weimar were decent, but this time the cozy room and delicious breakfast totally exceeded my expectations. the location was perfect, right across from the train station, making everything so easy.
